Entertaining 02/12/2008

I am hoping to go through files to look for different, unique table settings, and post them here.  There are so many great ideas and I love looking through magazines to find interesting table settings for entertaining...My last set up wasn't so good, learned a lesson about serving steaks, which are hard to cut, on bamboo placemats, which slide on an unsturdy dining room table.  Nobody got hurt, thankfully, it just made it extra challenging to eat, and pretend nothing was wrong. I felt like Bree on Desperate Housewives. Tonight~ another fun Birthday Club awaits us at Britney's house, the ice skater extrordinaire!  She is such a fabulous cook, my favorite being the lemon cake, that includes the ultra fattening lemon curd.  The word curd just sounds like: I can't fit in my jeans if I eat that.  We'll see what she makes tonight!

Well, the Hershey cake was delicious last night and once again I have had to start over my diet...Fresh N Fit cuisine is the diet of the month by the way. This morning I heated my potato, egg and cheese casserole and my tip to add to Becky's entertaining posts include the following. Do not heat your wheat roll in the microwave with your casserole as it will turn into a rock and practically break your teeth in half when trying to eat it because you are so hungry and know that that is the only bread you are going to get in the next 24 hours due to overeating (and drinking) the night before. That being said, I feel much better now. I think that you should call your comments section "Therapy for the Hungry and Uninformed" Good day and Good luck.
